Welcome to Fake Call, a mobile utility application published by Miravill ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy and providing complete transparency about how our application handles sensitive user and device data. 2. Purpose & Nature of the Application

Fake Call is an incoming call simulation and entertainment utility designed to help users simulate incoming phone calls to gracefully exit awkward situations, schedule reminders, or stage harmless pranks. Fake Call does not make real cellular or VoIP outgoing calls, does not connect to telecommunication carrier networks, and does not charge your mobile carrier account.

3. Information We Collect & How It Is Handled

We believe in data minimization. The App does not require account creation or login, and we do not collect or upload your personal information to remote servers. Details regarding specific features and permissions include:

• Custom Caller Profiles & Schedules: Any caller names, simulated phone numbers, custom avatar photos, scheduled call times, and call history logs you configure are stored strictly locally on your device in the App's private local database (Room / SQLite). This data is never sent to any external server.
• Microphone & Voice Recording (Optional): If you choose to record a custom voice audio track to play during simulated calls, the App will request microphone permission (RECORD_AUDIO). Recorded audio files are stored exclusively in the App's private internal storage on your device. Audio recordings are never uploaded, shared, or processed in the cloud.
• Device Sensors (Proximity & Accelerometer):
  • Proximity Sensor: Used during an active simulated call to automatically turn off the screen when you hold the phone close to your ear (preventing accidental touches and replicating realistic call behavior).
  • Accelerometer: Used for the optional "Shake to Call" feature to detect when you intentionally shake the device to trigger an instant call simulation.
  • Real-Time Processing: All sensor readings are processed in real-time in temporary device memory. No sensor data is recorded, saved, or transmitted.
• Exact Alarms & Notifications: Permissions (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT, POST_NOTIFICATIONS) are used solely to trigger your scheduled fake call at the exact second you set and display the incoming call interface over the lock screen.
• Foreground Services: Foreground service permissions (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_PHONE_CALL, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE) are used exclusively to maintain audio playback, call timers, and realistic in-call status while a simulated call is active.
• Crash Reports & Diagnostics: We may use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous technical diagnostics (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces) to help us diagnose and fix bugs. This data contains no personally identifiable information (PII).

4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect or upload your real personal contacts or phonebook data.
• We do not collect precise or approximate GPS location data.
• We do not record real phone calls or eavesdrop on conversations.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks.
• We do not use targeted tracking identifiers across third-party apps and websites.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not share, sell, or disclose your personal data with third parties, except in the following limited situations:

• Google Firebase Crashlytics: Used strictly for anonymous crash reporting and app stability diagnostics. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information only if required by applicable law or a valid legal process.

6. Data Security & Local Storage

All user configurations, custom caller profiles, voice recordings, and simulation history logs remain secured within the App's private application sandbox on your device. Android OS security features prevent other applications on your device from accessing this private storage.

7. User Data Control & Deletion Rights

Because all your profile settings, voice notes, and history logs are stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your data:

• You can edit or delete individual caller profiles, voice recordings, or call history logs at any time directly inside the App.
• You can permanently delete all data by clearing the App data in your device's Settings > Apps > Fake Call > Storage > Clear Data or by uninstalling the application.

8. Children's Privacy

Fake Call does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take immediate appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable regulatory standards. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
